When reducing size, ToolVera uses high-quality bilinear interpolation to preserve sharpness. For best results, reduce to no smaller than 50% of the original and keep quality at 85% or above. PNG exports are always lossless. Note: enlarging an image beyond its original size will naturally cause some softening — no resizer can add pixels that don't exist in the original.
Use the "Instagram 1:1" preset (1080×1080 px) for square feed posts, or "Story 9:16" (1080×1920 px) for Stories and Reels. For landscape posts, use 1080×566 px. These are Instagram's recommended dimensions for maximum quality in the app.
